Suicidal Prevention

At RDSS we create awareness on mental health issues by conducting events and campaigns in schools, workplaces, and colleges.

To prevent suicide, we implement several strategies where the first step is to raise awareness about the signs of mental health problems and the need for seeking professional help.

Educational campaigns are organized in schools, colleges, and workplaces to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.

Why its important:

Awareness around the issue is just the first important step towards creating a mentally healthy society.

Access to mental health services are improved to ensure that people have access to timely and effective treatment.

Telemedicine services and online counselling are also used to increase access to mental health care.

Families, friends, and communities can play a critical role in preventing suicide by providing emotional support to those in need. Support groups and helplines can also be established to provide a safe space for people to share their problems and seek help.

Suicide prevention efforts should also address the underlying societal issues that contribute to mental health problems, such as poverty, inequality, and discrimination. Social programs that promote economic empowerment and social inclusion can help to reduce stress and improve mental well-being.

In conclusion, preventing suicide in NCR and India requires a comprehensive and multi-faceted approach. By working together, we can build a society that supports mental well-being and reduces the risk of suicide.
